This morning, I went cycling with my good friend Austin Kjorven up in Milton. And it was a stark reminder that he is an athlete and holds a Guinness World Record, and that I spend the vast majority of my days sitting at a desk.

I used to cycle with a guy that raced competitively in Europe for ten years. For 100km mountain rides, we’d see his backend for about 10 minutes and then he’d literally be out of sight. You did well in comparison, judging by the photos!
Although no one’s asking, I think short socks look better.
