This is in contrast to what looks to be window wall on the western most buildings. Historically, curtain wall has been more expensive than window wall. It also typically performs better. But most condo buildings in Toronto use window wall. The difference between the two is that window wall sits between the concrete (slab) floors, where as curtain wall attaches to the outside. The performance difference comes from the fact that you usually want to minimize breaks in a building’s envelope. ## Publication Information - [Brandon Donnelly](https://brandondonnelly.com/): Publication homepage - [All Posts](https://brandondonnelly.com/): More posts from this publication - [RSS Feed](https://api.paragraph.com/blogs/rss/@brandondonnelly): Subscribe to updates - [Twitter](https://twitter.com/donnelly_b): Follow on Twitter ## Optional - [Collect as NFT](https://brandondonnelly.com/window-wall-vs-curtain-wall): Support the author by collecting this post - [View Collectors](https://brandondonnelly.com/window-wall-vs-curtain-wall/collectors): See who has collected this post
