Here are the top 10 cities in North America (table via the New York Times):For the third consecutive reporting period, Toronto has taken the number one spot at 97 cranes – 85 of which are being used on residential projects. I’m not at all sure how the study defines “mixed-use” projects. But given that Toronto only has 2 of them, it must not include projects with grade-related retail. Across North America, residential and mixed-use projects (whatever they are) make up approximately 70% of the total crane count. I am surprised that Miami didn’t make the list. ## Publication Information - [Brandon Donnelly](https://brandondonnelly.com/): Publication homepage - [All Posts](https://brandondonnelly.com/): More posts from this publication - [RSS Feed](https://api.paragraph.com/blogs/rss/@brandondonnelly): Subscribe to updates - [Twitter](https://twitter.com/donnelly_b): Follow on Twitter ## Optional - [Collect as NFT](https://brandondonnelly.com/north-american-cities-with-the-most-construction-cranes): Support the author by collecting this post - [View Collectors](https://brandondonnelly.com/north-american-cities-with-the-most-construction-cranes/collectors): See who has collected this post
